Health insurance

If you have private health insurance, we will submit a benefits claim form on your behalf. However, the gap between the Hospital account and the anticipated health fund benefits must be settled in advance or on your day of arrival.

Costs for ancillary services such as physiotherapy are not always fully covered by private health insurance. We recommend you contact your health fund to confirm their coverage of these services for your particular procedure.

If you are a workers’ compensation patient whose claim has been accepted by the insurance company, and you occupied a shared room, you need only pay for any phone, fax or personal laundry charges you have incurred. You will need to provide the insurance claim number at the time of your arrival.

Holders of health benefit cards may be entitled to receive some drugs for free or at discounted prices. Please present your card at the time of your arrival.
