Does the hospital take care of all accounts for the patient?
A representative from Patient Services on level 4 will provide you with an itemised account and explain the charges. If there are any late charges, such as last day medications, we will post them to you.

Please be aware that your doctor, other specialist consultant doctors who assisted in your treatment and some health professionals will send their accounts separately.
For example, if your procedure involves intensive care, the intensive care specialists will send separate accounts. Similarly the doctor who operates the heart by-pass machine will provide a separate account. All these bills should be settled directly (not through the Hospital). Medicare and your health fund may cover a proportion of the account.
