The Institute of Laboratory Medicine or SydPath is a fully accredited NATA/RCPA registered laboratory, providing a wide range of pathology services to the St Vincent's Campus and beyond.

SydPath offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic laboratory services covering the disciplines of anatomical pathology, chemical pathology, clinical pharmacology and toxicology, haematology and transfusion medicine, molecular medicine, microbiology and immunopathology.

The laboratories also offer a comprehensive range of specialised testing services with a particular focus in the areas of endocrinology, clinical pharmacology and immunopathology. Specialised expertise in the fields of cytogenetics and molecular medicine are also offered.
